creativity definition

In our art appreciation class, we are asked to answer two questions:

1. What is creativity?

2. Where does creativity come from?

My answer is this.

1. Creativity is turning something ordinary to extraordinary. It is something beyond the usual. Creativity is about turning a vision into a reality. Creativity is often admired or mocked by other people since everyone has his/her own perspective and he/she creates his/her own standards for a particular subject. Creativity, nonetheless, is a way of expressing a feeling that has been kept inside you for a long time.

2. For me, creativity comes from a person’s past experience and his/her present and future inspirations. Creativity is more than just the work of the brain, it also tackles one’s emotion.

I am just kinda happy with my answers and felt like putting it on my blog. heheh

Shayne Zalameda is Misstache. She adores eating, traveling, attending events, and watching films. She likes to omit adjectives and is fascinated with ironies. As much as possible, she tries to avoid the word "very". Sometimes she easily forget things. More on http://LeMisstache.com
