Ondoy’s wrath

We were just among the hundreds and thousands of people who felt Ondoy’s wrath here in Metro Manila. My Lola said that it is a first in our experience to felt a flood like this for the house’s existence in more or less 30 years. The first hours of the storm are spent with a mighty heart and adrenalin rush pouring all over just so we can bring the appliances in the first floor to place them at second floor.

We stayed up all day and all night in the second floor, hoping, wishing and praying for the rain to stop and the flood (which made the whole place look like an instant swimming pool) to subside.

Then, it came to a point that the rain did stopped and the water subsiding slowly. We are very thankful for that and again, we are hoping for the weather to be okay.
