intruder alert

I don’t get the idea of people being happy or judgmental about others misery.

While tumblogging, I saw this post about a famous local celebrity’s secret being exposed. It has something to do with a very well-kept secret, and in a sense an exposed secret, that keeps the public curious about the truth behind the shades. Filipinos might have an idea about who I’m talking about right now. heh.

Going back, there’s someone who shot a photo of this local celebrity, revealing the truth behind the well kept secret. The photo shows an inside peek about the truth that has been, I think, kept by the celebrity at the best effort that he can and some people just takes a photo of him exposing his eyes to the public. I just don’t really get it. It’s amazing to know a secret yeah but some secrets are not worth knowing anymore and I think, the secrets worth exposing are only the ones that will greatly affect the concern of the public like corruption, illegal deeds and other evil acts and not just about a mystery behind a celebrity’s whatnots.

A celebrity is a celebrity. One might say that he’s a public figure so the public deserves a right to know almost anything about him/her but his job doesn’t give the public a license to delve more into their private lives and personal secrets.

I must say that even I myself benefited from the said photo but I did not asked for it. It was accidentally given to my Tumblr dashboard. Some might benefited more in this photo. It’s just a sad truth that we use others misery or problems in order to benefit ourselves.

Sometimes we people need to take Manners 101 because we’re kinda forgetting our values. Remember, curiosity killed the cat so don’t be much of an intruder because it might not be healthy anymore. Find other source of happiness instead of knowing too much about others private lives.
