Day 30 of 94

First actual driving

I braved the roads of Mindanao Avenue and EDSA, all by myself! I got some hang-ups here and there, got stuck in between traffics, got some drivers blow their horn at me many times, but what’s important is, I made it safe and sound on my way to work. And what actually makes me really happy is the fact that I did it alone! Except for the part that I was never able to drive the car out our tiny driveway that I needed to call our neighbor friend for him to get the car out.

Sooner or later, I know I can do everything, from the driveway to the parking lot, all alone. In time. And it’s the kind of aloneness that wouldn’t make me feel lonely. It’s the kind that is liberating, a sign of independence, of contentment, and of achieving things that weren’t beyond my grasp, then.

Someday, one day.
