Lightbulb

Some
possibly
brilliant ideas
just come to you

in an unsuspecting hour
at an unsuspecting day

It hits
you,
like a lightning bolt
that touches
the land
the first time;

causes you
to toss
and turn
in
your
bed

afraid

excited

skeptic and

restrained

but free

you can’t help but wonder:

how many ideas have I unconsciously let slip away while I was busy sleeping?

and so I am here,
still busy thinking,
only definite about
one thing:

is it brilliant, really?
at all?

…Oh.

True. Ideas come unexpectedly. Seems brilliant when it strikes, then not so brilliant… 😀
